The Livia Cevolini Interviews: Energica, CRP, Ego, Racing, the Market, All That

interview

I told Livia Cevolini, the CEO of Energica, I was actually more excited to meet her than to see the bike.  It’s the truth.  Can you blame me?

Ms. Cevolini was gracious and patient enough to sit and answer lots and lots of questions.  I broke it up into smaller sections, to keep it to topics, so here you go.  Here’s the whole set.

First, not only a bit about the Energica Ego, but the early days and the eCRP bike with it’s (then) ground-breaking dual Agnis.

I really wanted to learn more about the history of the company.  Only lately has the family learned of her grandfather’s position at Benelli, interestingly, going through some of the family archives.  Here you go:

I had to ask her about the market, and her take on what Honda, Yamaha and Harley are doing (and, more interestingly, not doing).

Of course, I had to ask about their racing plans.  This was a very interesting response.
