2014 Zero SR / 2013 Brammo Empulse Spec Shootout

I’ve been holding off on this to try to see what Brammo is offering for a 2014 Empulse, but have yet to see anything other than them talking about an IPO and making cars. When and if I get word of the 2014 specs I’ll update them here.

These specs are from the respective pages: Zero and Brammo. I would emphatically encourage you to visit those sites for all the details on how the specs are arrived at and associated caveats.

I’ve selected the specs they list in common, along with a few that were pertinent – ie, stuff that one bike may have that’s important, and the other doesn’t, like the CHAdeMO charging feature.  I compared the top of the lines: the Zero SR with the optional Power Tank and the Empulse R, as examples of the best you can get.  The money matches up pretty well too what with only a $500 difference.
