Zero just released it’s 2013 look. Someone at Zero should maybe do some reading about “Form Follows Function”, huh? What I find beautiful about motorcycles is the pure form, the beauty of the machine, etc etc like that. Not some Transformer – plastic covers and whatnot that looked culled together from some kid’s toy box. They’ve been heading down this road for the last few years and this model hits pretty much the “stick-on-plastic” mark dead on.
For anyone interested, this is what an electric motorcycle should look like:
…classic, beautiful, functional.
That’s not to say I don’t like the Zero. I’d just love to be able to get my hands on one, strip it down and build it properly…

Seconded! I keep looking for a Zero that I can get checp and start a ‘Vetter’s last fairing’ thing. Not everyone’s cuppa, but I want efficient range & speed while carrying a computer or two…
Ahh, wouldn’t the Honda actually have to be able to move in order for your comment to be correct.
Yes the Honda looked state of the art 30 years ago but this is 2012 and the retro look iof the Zeros more up to date
Terry @ Off The Grid has stripped off most of the plastics from his 2012 Zero and added a Ninja 250 front fairing.
Woops. Forgot the link.
