…never one to miss the chance to take a good joke just a little too far, this one, ehem, dawned on me this morning.
Reports indicate the spill will reach all the way to the West Coast within 4 hours, engulfing populated areas like Los Angeles and San Francisco, with the entire central US in it’s wake!
Imagine if those lights you see above were powered by, uh, SOLAR?
Guess I’ve gone through some concept changes… huh?
Still a bunch of minor projects on the list, but, for this battery configuration anyway, thaar she sits.

Cabled it up and went for several rides yesterday, still can’t stop smiling. I also finally posted on the EV Album.
The numbers: Range with 22ah AGM scooter batteries is around 10 miles, max is 13. Recharge is 3 hours with the 8amp C1B Series Charger. Top speed is 60mph, 0-60 is around 8-9 seconds.
Now time to bolt everything down properly…
