batteries: YES.

I’ve been holding back, trying to temper my enthusiasm and excitement, but I can’t take it… Here’s the bike (dubbed the “zombie fembot”, by the way, courtesy of my wife and son. Teresa: “You’re not working on a motorcycle down there, you’re building a fembot!”, and, Tyler: “Electric motorcycles have no soul.” The “Zombie Fembot” seemed like a shoo-in…)

Anyway, I ended up with the 22Ah AGM cells, at “half-U1″ size, more as an experiment than anything else, but also as a way to get the thing rolling, keep the weight down, see what 20Ah is good for, range-wise (planning for the Headway lithium cells) and have some fun. The whole idea is a modular battery rack- easily adaptable for whatever battery pack comes along. Here it is:

More to come, including complete details of the final build, specs and performance numbers… but as Uncle Sudsy said, I’m 12 crimps away from going for a ride!

Water cooled motors…

Check out the MotoCzysz D1-10 Dyno vid- awesome awesomeness.

Whether the output is worth the weight increase of all the cooling stuff remains to be seen… but this MotoCzysz motor will certainly tell the story one way or another.

I’m consistently impressed by what these guys are doing. I just wish I could spell it.

brammobabes.

brammobabes. brammobabes. brammobabes. brammobabes. brammobabes.
